“Beat the Storm” is a storm simulation machine - an exciting and educational attraction where you can feel the power of a hurricane and test your physical abilities while resisting this storm. The air flow can be adjusted from a light breeze up to a Category 2 hurricane.
In 2022, the attraction was opened for public use and entertainment at the “Universe Science park in Denmark”. In this project, we helped develop the automation system, according to the requirements of the attraction:
– Automation project development
– Adaptation of motor drive system, definition of relevant electrical connection requirements
– Development of attraction equipment control (PLC) and user interface (HMI, Web servers, Video Stream provision for user interface), programming
– Electrical installation and functional tests of the equipment
